I got chatting to a waiter at a cafe a couple of weeks ago, and when he found out I was a pastor he remarked "you don't look like a pastor". I guess there's a certain mindset out there of what a pastor looks like, and for some reason I didn't fit the bill.

We were sitting for a meal at connect group last week, when two families that we didn't know also came and sat at the cafe.

I had the real pleasure last Sunday of meeting a great new family! Dad looked obviously a bit lost, with one kid on his shoulders and one by the hand.

Well Joel A'bell promised us that it would be saturday before we knew it, and it is!

There's no place like home. Day four, and conference feels like home. Partly it's the fantastic new staging setup, with 'not a bad seat in the house', and the vibe of a great big lounge room.

Day three was a day to press in! I was so full from the days already passed that I knew I needed to consciously decide to stir my expectation for what was to come.
