Hillsong LIVE Debuts Among Australia's Best

This morning in one of Sydney’s local newspapers, The Daily Telegraph, we came across an article about how Hillsong LIVE’s latest album ‘A Beautiful Exchange’ is neck-and-neck in a race to debut at No. 1 on the charts, with Australia’s leading lady of music, Kylie Minogue.

"Kylie Minogue faces a battle with God to claim a No. 1 chart debut for new record Aphrodite. While Minogue is outselling Eminem two to one in the UK, the latest release from Hillsong LIVE has been challenging her chart campaign here, writes music editor Kathy McCabe.

A Beautiful Exchange and Aphrodite were neck-and-neck on the iTunes chart this week, with the Hillsong offering dominant at No. 1 until yesterday when a special edition of Aphrodite pushed it ahead. The ARIA charts, which factor in download and “physical” sales, are released tonight and insiders predicted Minogue would win thanks to fans buying more CDs than digital copies.

Her 11th record, heralded by the single All The Lovers, was also an iTunes No. 1 yesterday in France, Germany, Belgium, Canada, Finland, Switzerland and Spain and No. 3 in the US.”
