How To Predict The Future

Hillsong Collected

Have you ever looked at someone and thought, "Man, I wish I was always in the right place at the right time, like that guy or like that girl!"?? In reality what we are saying is that we often find ourselves in the wrong place at the wrong time. Well, what if I told you, you can predict the future so that you will find yourself at the right place at the right time?

Being in the wrong place at the wrong time again and again does one thing, drain us. We end up like a flat battery and the zest and joy of life seems to disappear. So how do we predict the future and get our batteries recharged? How do I get to the right place at the right time? Pretty simple, you find out what God is blessing right now and you get there! You lean into His place of Grace.

If you are a young adult in Sydney, there are two places I would encourage you to look at right now and consider what you could do to be a part of it:

1. Hillsong College

STOP! Before you let confusion consume you... Yes, I am talking about full-time college and yes I am talking about potentially putting everything else on hold for at least a year. I never said it wouldn't cost anything to be in the right place at the right time.

As a graduate of our college, I can honestly say that I know, one of the top reasons for the quality and longevity of my life, family, and ministry can be narrowed down to ONE thing: I decided in 2001 to leave my home country and move to what I knew would be the right place and the right time and I joined Hillsong College.

I hear of so many people struggle knowing what to do and why. Well, keep receiving a paycheck won't get you any closer to an answer. Spending one year will not only help you answer that question, it will also equip you and place values in you that will be with you forever. Go to hillsongcollege.com and check out the details and at least think about it. You are worth investing a year into.

2. SummerFest

Once a year we get all our young adults together for a few days in unity and passion. The Bible is clear that hunger and unity not only attracts God's attention but moves His hand and heart to command a blessing. What more do I need to say???

I know that I need God's blessing on my life, marriage, career, finances, and every other area. So often the right place and right time comes, when you hang with the right people. I don't know your circle of friends and influences but I do know the young adults of Hillsong Church and they are the right people to spend two days with and if that is all it takes, in order to set a trajectory that will set you on a course, God will bless for the rest of the 364 days this year (it's Leap Year :), what is there left to discuss? So go to hillsongyouth.com/events and get your rego in for SummerFest.

This has not been a blatant attempt to market college or our Retreat. I just know what both of those places have done for me and it would be selfish not to try and convince you to experience the same.

Bless you,
Thomas

Did anyone see where January and February went? They were standing here a few minutes ago and all of a sudden they have disappeared into thin air, never to be seen again.
